WHO WE ARE

Sign Language, Built for Homeschool Families

Homeschool ASL gives your student everything they need to learn sign language at their own pace, with real interaction from a fluent, qualified teacher. We built this program specifically for homeschool families, not adapted from a classroom curriculum, but designed from the ground up around how homeschoolers actually learn.
Our Approach:
At Homeschool ASL, we believe students learn best when they have the freedom to work at their own pace while still receiving guidance from an experienced teacher. Our courses are designed to fit naturally into a homeschool schedule without sacrificing accountability, interaction, or meaningful feedback.

Each course includes pre-recorded video lessons, practice activities, quizzes, and video assignments that allow students to actively use what they are learning. Teachers personally review student signing assignments and provide individualized feedback, helping students correct mistakes, build confidence, and develop strong communication skills.

By combining the flexibility homeschool families value with the guidance students need, our courses create an environment where learners can grow in confidence, develop strong communication skills, and make steady progress in ASL.
What We Offer:
We currently offer Elementary ASL, ASL 1, ASL 2, and ASL 3. Elementary ASL introduces younger learners to sign language through engaging, age-appropriate lessons, while ASL I–III are each divided into ten chapters that guide students from foundational vocabulary and grammar to increasingly advanced communication skills.

Students watch pre-recorded video lessons and complete practice activities, quizzes, and assessments designed to reinforce learning. Throughout the course, they submit video assignments so their teacher can review their signing and provide personalized feedback, helping students build strong habits and develop confidence in their communication skills.

In ASL I–III, Chapter 5 serves as the midterm and Chapter 10 as the final exam, with each including a video assignment, test, and student project.
