WHO WE ARE

Sign Language, Built for Homeschool Families

Homeschool ASL gives your student everything they need to learn sign language at their own pace, with real interaction from a fluent, qualified teacher. We built this program specifically for homeschool families, not adapted from a classroom curriculum, but designed from the ground up around how homeschoolers actually learn.
Our Approach:
Our classes are online and self-paced, so your student can complete them anywhere, anytime, fitting into your family's schedule rather than the other way around. But self-paced doesn't mean self-taught.

Your student has direct interaction with our teacher throughout the course, getting feedback on their signing, joining live events to practice with other students, and working through a curriculum that builds steadily from basic vocabulary to conversational fluency.
What We Offer:
We currently offer ASL I and II, each broken into ten chapters that take students from foundational vocabulary through more advanced conversational skills. Students watch pre-recorded video lessons, then complete hands-on practice activities and quizzes.

At the end of each chapter, they submit a video assignment so their teacher can review their signing and give personalized feedback, catching small errors before they turn into habits that are harder to unlearn. Chapter 5 serves as the midterm and Chapter 10 as the final exam, each including a video assignment, test, and student project.
