WHO WE ARE

A Fun and Engaging Introduction to American Sign Language

Elementary ASL is designed specifically for younger learners, introducing students to American Sign Language through interactive lessons, visual learning, and hands-on activities. Students build vocabulary, develop communication skills, and gain confidence using ASL while learning at their own pace. Whether your child is learning ASL for the first time or simply enjoys exploring new languages, Elementary ASL provides a strong foundation in a format created with younger students in mind.

What Students Will Learn

Throughout the course, students will learn:

  • Everyday vocabulary and common phrases
  • Family, animals, colors, food, and other themed vocabulary
  • Basic conversational skills
  • Fingerspelling and the ASL alphabet
  • Receptive skills (understanding signs)
  • Expressive skills (producing signs)
  • Introduction to Deaf culture and the Deaf community
